E-commerce packaging solutions
Grand View Research reports the global e-commerce packaging market is expected to achieve excellent growth over the next six years. “The factors attributed to the industry growth are increasing penetration of the internet and smartphones, rapid economic growth, and increasing online spending,” reads the report.
It adds that a significant growth in the e-commerce apparels and accessories market is driving the demand for e-commerce plastic packaging.
“Growing investments by key players in the latest technologies and a focus on an easy-to-shop experience for consumers are the factors likely to boost industry sales. However, concerns regarding security and credit/debit card fraud may hinder growth to some extent.”
Setting new standards
Based in Italy, CMC specializes in the design, production, and sale of innovative solutions and high-tech machinery for mailing, graphic art, e-commerce, and logistics.
Luigi Russo, general manager at CMC says this initiative enhances the company’s machine performance and enables it to provide the company’s customers with responsible and sustainable e-commerce packaging solutions.
By combining their expertise and resources, both companies aim to set new standards in e-commerce packaging. They will offer solutions that are sustainable, efficient, and cost-effective.
Silvia Hanzelova, sales director for specialty kraft paper at Mondi says: “Our joint efforts will focus on creating innovative kraft paper solutions that support the circular economy and meet the needs of the e-commerce sector.
