Paris-based logistics platform business Stuart is partnering with integration provider UrbanPiper to help restaurants in the UK, Ireland, and Europe with delivery.

The companies will assist restaurants by offering a combined tech offering.

India-based UrbanPiper was founded in 2016. Its solution keeps restaurants on one dashboard. The company allows you to manage UberEats, Deliveroo, Just Eat, and all your other online ordering channels directly from your ePOS or its delivery manager dashboard.

Over 35,000 restaurants worldwide use UrbanPiper’s solutions to improve their delivery operations. The company has offices in Bengaluru, Dubai, Riyadh, and London.

Last-mile delivery in action

The new partnership will allow restaurants to integrate Stuart’s platform through UrbanPiper – connecting them with independent couriers. This will see restaurants streamline their delivery. Stuart will also have full control of food delivery apps from UrbanPiper’s dashboard. Here are some ways this partnership will benefit restaurants:

  • Lessen order time.
  • Improve accuracy.
  • Reduce the time it takes for customers to receive their order.

Stuart has the last-mile delivery solution

Europe’s leading last-mile logistics platform was founded in 2015 in Paris with a €15 million ($16.3 million)  investment from GeoPost. Its solutions are tailored sectors like restaurants, grocery, retail and luxury, and e-commerce.  The company operates in 120 cities and has more than 8,000 business clients.

Cornelia Raportaru, CEO of Stuart, says: “Joining forces with UrbanPiper allows us to empower restaurateurs to realize their full potential, supported by technology that simplifies order processes and connects them to a reliable and sustainable delivery fleet. This allows them to reach new groups of customers and build their business in new areas.”

UrbanPiper are blazing a trail

In June 2023, the company announced its acquisition of Ordermark. This move was made to empower restaurants in the US and Canada.

Company CEO and co-founder Saurabh Gupta elaborates on the acquisition: “This acquisition allows us to offer our customers new capabilities and extensive point of sale (POS) integrations while expanding our reach into the U.S. market. We are confident that UrbanPiper’s innovative solutions will resonate with American restaurants and food businesses, enabling them to thrive in the digital age.”

Last-mile delivery news UK

In November 2023, the UK’s largest independent parcel delivery network, APC,   announced a partnership with Parcelly, a UK logistics tech platform.

APC entered into this partnership as part of its APC Choice service, which offers alternative delivery solutions when parcel recipients cannot receive a package. The partnership will allow Parcelly to provide customers with pickup points across 1,250 locations in the UK.
