1. Update Stop/Shipment/Trip Details Page Maps to a Richer Experience with Mapbox
The maps on Stop, Shipment, and Trip details pages have been upgraded to use Mapbox, offering a more interactive and visually enriched experience.

- Assigned Stops/Shipments: Displays route polylines and driver markers’ starting locations.
- History Location: Displays a pulsing animation for markers when a status is updated via the mobile app, enhancing visibility and tracking.
Use Case: Logistics managers can easily track driver movements and assigned routes with better map clarity, ensuring smoother operations, and reduced manual follow-ups.
2. Notes Field Enhancements
The ‘Notes’ field on Stop and Shipment details pages has been improved to handle large amounts of text seamlessly by wrapping it across multiple lines.

Use Case: A dispatcher can quickly read detailed instructions or updates on shipments without struggling with text that extends beyond the visible screen width.
3. New Service Area Dashboard
We introduced a new dashboard for managing service areas provides users, including additional tools for customization and control.

- Action Labels: Hover-over labels for Edit, View, and Delete actions.

4. Search & Filter in Order List Page
Enhancements to the Order List page with advanced search and filter capabilities. This feature is available for enterprise customers only.

- Search by batchImportId.
- Switch between SourceReference and OrderNumber, similar to the Stop List.
- Filters added:
- Customer.
- Service Area.
- Date Range (with options for today, tomorrow, and custom ranges).
- Creation Date, Ready Date, and Expected Delivery Date.
- Option to ignore Today and Tomorrow filters if a date range is selected.
- Ability to view data with no date filter.
Use Case: An enterprise logistics manager can quickly find and sort orders by relevant parameters like customer name or service area, enabling more efficient tracking and reporting.
5. API Changes: Bulk Order Enhancements
We made improvements to the Bulk Order API to enhance functionality and flexibility for large-scale order imports.

- Automatic creation of Pickup and Drop stops for bulk orders.

6. Rates Engine – New Charging Facet: Charge Per Drop
A new charging type has been added to the Rates Engine, specifically for enterprise customers.

- Enables charging a predefined amount per drop on a trip.
- Can also be applied to shipments or stops, counting as a single drop.
- Flexibility to charge based on stop statuses (e.g., all stops, completed, failed).
Use Case: Delivery companies can calculate precise charges for trips with multiple drops to improve transparency and ensuring accurate billing for services rendered.
7. New Custom Action Email: ‘Item Not Delivered‘
A new email notification is introduced for items marked as Not Delivered during a stop’s completion.

- Enabled by the item checklist app permission.
- Consolidates all Not Delivered items from a single Stop into one email.
- Email includes a table with item references linked to details.
- Recipients:
- Customer Email or Contact Email.
- Team Manager.
- Specific Email Address (configurable).
Use Case: Customer support teams can proactively communicate with clients regarding undelivered items, ensuring better transparency and follow-up processes.
8. Stops Panel in Order Details Page
A new panel has been added to the Order Details page to display related stops.

- Shows all Stops connected to a specific Order in a tabular format for better visibility.
Use Case: A dispatcher can quickly check which Stops are associated with a particular Order, making it easier to track progress and address any issues promptly.
Locate2u Product Update 2.8.12: Improvements
- Resolved an issue where stop information would revert to customer default information when editing a stop in the customer portal.
- Updated tracking links to remove the showing proof of deliveries by default from emails.
- Adjusted unassigning behavior for stops/shipments, ensuring they are not automatically assigned to the support user, even when other account members are present.
- Fixed an issue preventing the deletion of stops on a run schedule.
- Optimized the Trip List page by caching trip ETAs to reduce calls to the ODL server.
- Enhanced the Review Charges form to properly expand the job view when needed.
- Addressed a problem where the tracking page was not displaying as expected.

New Trip Route Map Page
1. Driver Locations on First Load:
When the ‘Show Trips on Map’ button is clicked, it opens in a new tab. On first load, all driver locations are displayed.
2. Driver Stops Display:
Stops are now grouped by driver and visually distinguished between completed, failed, and pending stops:
- Completed Stops:
Green border around the icon and faded appearance.
- Failed Stops:
Faded with a red icon.
- Pending Stops:
Icons remain fully visible and are not faded.
Improved Driver Icon Interaction:
Clicking a driver’s icon now provides a detailed view, offering better clarity on individual driver routes and activities.

iOS 2.0.13: Features
Feature 1: Ability to Receive and Display Team Custom SMS Templates
Drivers can now send SMS notifications to customers using pre-defined templates from the app portal. The SMS is sent via the team’s Twilio account, ensuring a seamless and centralized process.
How It Works:
- Option 1: List and Map Views
- Tap ‘SMS Customer’ on the bottom panel.
- Select a template from the list.
- Confirm or cancel sending the SMS.
- Option 2: Stop/Shipment Details Page
- Tap ‘SMS Customer.’
- Select a template from the list.
- Confirm or cancel sending the SMS.
Additional Details:
- Templates are displayed by their ‘template name’, which is configurable through App portal.
- The redesigned bottom panel accommodates the new button while maintaining usability.
- Important: The ‘SMS Customer’ button is only visible if manual trigger templates are configured on the team account.
Feature 2: Display Timestamp and Template Name of Sent SMS
Drivers can now see the timestamp and template name of SMS messages sent via the ‘SMS Customer’ button.
This prevents accidental duplicate SMS sending.
Feature 3: Updated Text on POD Signature Page
The text for the signature question in the POD flow has been updated to:
‘Receiver Full Name’ (formerly ‘Contact Name’).
Feature 4: ‘Complete Trip’ Button on List View Bottom Panel
The ‘Complete Trip’ button is now available on the list view’s bottom panel, ensuring consistency with the Android app.
- The ‘Online’ button has been reintroduced for consistency.

Locate2u Product Update: iOS 2.0.13 Improvements
UI and Design:
- Improved inconsistent status button sizes in the Shipments and Stops list.
- Resolved an issue where the button moved when the keyboard was displayed in the stop note.
- Only the number of stops and ETA are displayed when the bottom navigation panel is slid down.
Functionality:
- Long text values for failed reason selection now display fully.
- Improved ‘Time window per trip start’ setting on devices.

Android 2.0.13: Features
Feature 1: Ability to Receive and Display Team Custom SMS Templates
This feature enables drivers to manually trigger pre-defined SMS templates (stored on the app portal) to notify customers, such as sending delay or 30-minute delivery notifications.
These SMS messages will be sent via the Twilio account linked to the team app portal rather than directly from the driver’s device.
Flow:
- Via the bottom panel (list/map views):
- Tap ‘SMS Customer’
- Select the template to send
- Confirm or cancel the SMS
- Via stop/shipment details page:

The option to contact the stop/shipment contact directly will now appear on the bottom panel.

Add a timestamp and template name to the SMS sent log, allowing drivers to see if they’ve already triggered a template.
