Locate2u is gearing up to participate in MEGATRANS 2024, Australia’s largest integrated exhibition and conference for the logistics industry.
The event, scheduled for September 18 and 19 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, will showcase vehicle telematics, fleet management software, and warehousing solutions.
MEGATRANS 2024: The future of logistics
MEGATRANS show director, Lauren Chartres, tells MHD Supply Chain that while there are plenty of events focused on individual stages of the supply chain, hardly any comprehensively cover “the entire logistics process from manufacturing to end consumer.”
“Our goal was to create a forum for discussing improvements across the whole supply chain,” Chartres explains.
The exhibition floor will feature industry leaders, while attendees can engage directly with experts and witness live demonstrations.
All about sustainability
This year’s theme is simple yet powerful – ‘The Sustainable Supply Chain of the Future.’
Discussions and showcases will be centered around future-forward fleets, zero-carbon solutions, supply chain traceability, and more.
But there’s more to this event than just the exhibition space; it also promises a jam-packed conference program. Selected speakers will talk about current issues affecting sustainable supply chains.
This includes workplace diversity, ethical practices, and real estate planning.
MEGATRANS 2024 is a chance for businesses in the logistics and supply chain space to keep up to date with the latest trends while prioritizing sustainability.
