DoorDash has partnered with several new merchants for on-demand delivery ahead of the busy shopping season.
Last month the last-mile delivery provider joined forces with Mattress Firm to offer customers on-demand two-hour delivery of mattresses and bedding accessories in the US.
Why does this matter? This initiative not only saves customers time but also reduces the stress of last-minute shopping, making it easier for people to get what they need without the hassle of going out.
Here are the new merchants joining DoorDash.
H Mart’s wide range of essentials
H Mart, the largest Asian supermarket chain in the US, offers a wide range of groceries, daily essentials, and premium products from over 75 locations nationwide.
Shoppers can find everything from Korean banchan and quality meats to ramen noodles and specialty snacks, all available year-round.
Get Aveda products on the go
Aveda offers plant-based, vegan beauty products for hair, skin, and body. Shoppers can get on-demand delivery from over 65 stores, whether they’re looking for popular hair care items or essential skincare products while on the go.
DoorDash riding the wave of convenience
Earlier this month, Locate2u reported on the most valuable and strongest logistics brands according to Brand Finance. The company is a brand valuation and strategy consultancy that puts brands across all sectors to the test. This time, the firm ranks logistics companies.
The report highlights that DoorDash’s strong focus on food delivery is paying off. “Despite the argument that food delivery isn’t a necessity, spending on food is essential, and the macro trend toward greater convenience is accelerating,” reads the report.
In addition, the report emphasizes that this trend is evident across the business. “Even amid an uncertain economic backdrop. Both new and existing users continue to exhibit healthy behavior, contributing to positive momentum.”
