ZenaDrone, a subsidiary of tech company ZenaTech (Nasdaq: ZENA), has launched a new product, part of its drone series, that is aimed at improving productivity and indoor inspections in warehouses.
The IQ Nano product, part of the IQ series of indoor/outdoor drones, can save business costs by monitoring and tracking processes, including inventory management.
The 10×10-inch drone is designed to perform “regular and frequent inspections for applications” such as:
- Barcode or RFID scanning.
- Facility maintenance inspections.
- Security monitoring.
- 3D mapping specific.
The drone accommodates the needs of companies with warehouses, distribution, plants, and industrial facilities.
This autonomous technology features integrated sensors, high-quality cameras, and data collection. It is designed for hovering stability and safety with obstacle-avoidance capabilities.
The impressively lightweight, weighing only 1.5kg, is ideal for indoor logistics. It can last 20 minutes at a time before requiring a charge. It has an automatic battery station for charging.
ZenaDrone IQ Nano a breakthrough
Shaun Passley, founder of ZenaTech, says this technology is a breakthrough in warehouse logistics.
“It will eliminate dull and repetitive tasks for warehouse and logistics customers, saving them significant time and money while conducting inspection, maintenance, security, and inventory monitoring tasks inside their facilities.”
IQ Nano operates from your business’ own indoor GPS. Passley compares it to be similar to space-based radio-navigation GPS utility, enabling safety and obstacle avoidance indoors.
Key features of ZenaDrone
For longer flight times or hovering in one place for longer periods, IQ Nano offers a stable data connection for indoor inspections.
Although the battery lasts 20 minutes before being charged, it has an intelligent flight battery that enhances its time in the air.
You might be wondering how it will be able to navigate through your packed warehouse where other items are stored.
The ZenaDrone comes with features to avoid obstacles and is specially designed for confirmed spaces where traditional drones are at risk.
Now that the drone is hovering in the warehouse, enhanced video transmission and sensing systems make capturing video footage easy.
It also has user-friendly controls designed for operability, even for new pilots.
