Veho and Clearjet unite for retail brand parcel deliveries

Veho and ClearJet unite for retail brand parcel deliveries

Last-mile delivery provider Veho is growing its reach by partnering with Clearjet for parcel deliveries. This will allow Veho to meet the logistics needs of e-commerce retailers with West Coast distribution centers in the US.

Clearjet offers a comprehensive express delivery network and operating system, leveraging US commercial airlines for e-commerce deliveries.

By employing a zone-skipping strategy, Clearjet efficiently routes packages to various final mile providers, including UPS, FedEx, USPS, regional carriers, and gig drivers. This approach enables retailers to achieve faster delivery times at more affordable rates.

Veho and Clearjet have partnered to offer national retailers a competitive two-day delivery option, enhancing traditional carrier services. This collaboration integrates Clearjet’s Fast Skip, a specialized zone-skipping network that leverages available airline cargo space for transporting lightweight parcels.

New York-based Veho is a logistics company providing last-mile delivery and return services.

Efficient middle-mile transport

The combined efforts of ClearJet’s efficient middle-mile air transport and Veho’s flexible last-mile delivery network result in a seamless shipping experience. Key benefits include improved package tracking, personalized customer interactions, and a remarkable on-time delivery rate exceeding 99%.

This partnership effectively combines ClearJet’s air transport capabilities with Veho’s customer-focused delivery and return services.

Itamar Zur, Veho CEO and co-founder, says: “Through a focus on innovation, Veho and ClearJet are rethinking how packages make their way to customers in the modern age of e-commerce. We are excited to enable our retail clients to access ClearJet’s unique zone-skipping network – and extend the Veho magic to more customers’ doorsteps.”

New standard of parcel deliveries

Chris Guggenheim, ClearJet CEO says Veho is renowned for its 99% on-time delivery and next-level customer experience. “This collaboration signifies a rethinking of package delivery in the modern e-commerce landscape, and we are excited to embark on this journey with Veho to redefine the customer promise and set new standards in logistics delivery,” says Guggenheim.

Delivery companies are also adapting to the needs of the market. We see this with the logistics company UPS. The company recently launched a weekend residential delivery service. This will bring Saturday deliveries to customers in major cities in Canada.

Last month, Locate2u reported that fast delivery is the new standard in retail fulfillment, stating that e-commerce giants are increasing their networks to incorporate fast delivery.

Parcel delivery market in the US

Mordor Intelligence reports the US courier, express, and parcel (CEP) market is expected to grow at an annual compound growth rate of 4.48% in the next six years. “With rising revenue and parcel volumes, many companies are undertaking acquisitions in the country. In October 2023, UPS Inc. acquired Happy Returns, a returns management software company, from PayPal Holdings Inc.”

A trend being noticed in the delivery space is the use of drones. In 2023, Amazon took the leap with its MK30 drone to deliver parcels within 60 minutes from the time of order placement. The drone delivers prescription medication in the US state of Texas.
